Approach:  Camp Companion has stepped outside the traditional approach to humane society. 

Our program centers around Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).

This targeted spay/neuter initiative addresses the often-overlooked populations of farm, feral, and stray cats—animals that frequently find their way into shelters. Tragically, these are the very cats most neglected by traditional humane societies and animal control systems. By focusing on prevention, this program not only reduces shelter overcrowding but also gives these vulnerable animals a chance at healthier, safer lives.
